The San Antonio Housing Authority's eviction moratorium comes to an end on February 28th. As a result, more than four-thousand local families may face eviction by the end of this month if they can't pay their past-due rent. SAHA deals mainly with Section 8 housing, affordable housing, and low-income housing. The agency has cut its tenants some slack since March 2020, before the federal eviction moratorium started. The local moratorium has been extended five-times, but time is almost up.
