The FAA is delaying its environmental assessment of the SpaceX launch facility in South Texas for another month. The agency announced yesterday that it now plans to release the assessment by March 28th. The assessment is a key step toward allowing SpaceX to launch its Starship program into orbit from Boca Chica Beach. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said last week that he may move Starship launches to Cape Canaveral in Florida if the FAA continues to drag its feet on issuing a launch license for the Texas facility.
