The AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is $3.15 a gallon for regular unleaded. That price is up seven-cents from a week ago, and is 97-cents higher than a year ago. The national average is $3.48. Demand for gasoline is up and supplies are down, but rising crude prices are the main factor pushing pump prices higher. The average price at the pump in San Antonio is $3.09.
