Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar says his office will soon comply with a county policy to release bodycam video of critical incidents within ten-days. County commissioners approved the time frame in December, but Salazar said it couldn't be done without upgrades to the cameras' software. The commissioners voted Tuesday to approve the needed amendment and extension of the county's contract with the body camera provider, Axon. In addition to camera upgrades, the revised contract includes 550 new Tasers to replace used-up weapons.
