A real estate website says San Antonio was one of the nation's top-ten places to move to last year, and out-of-town buyers drove home prices up. Redfin's list, based on its own search criteria and Census Bureau data, ranked San Antonio number-ten, with a net increase of almost 24,000 new residents from somewhere else. San Antonio's median home prices vaulted above $300,000 in 2021 for the first time. Dallas was the nation's number-two migration destination, and Austin was number-six.
