A federal judge in Texas is ordering the Air Force to pay 230-million-dollars in damages to survivors of the Sutherland Springs church massacre. The shooter, who killed 26 people at a Baptist church in 2017, was discharged from the Air Force after his conviction for domestic violence. But the Air Force never uploaded that information to a federal database that would have kept him from buying a gun. Federal Judge Xavier Rodriguez ordered millions of dollars for pain and mental anguish, and millions more for medical bills.
