Texas energy officials are implementing an "aggressive grid management plan" as frigid air again heads towards the state. The Electric Reliability Council of Texas reportedly predicts the energy demand during the upcoming cold snap could match that of last February's deadly freeze that knocked out the grid for days. Despite the impending chill, the board is confident Texans' lights will stay on this year, claiming reforms by the state legislature have made the grid more "resilient and reliable than it has ever been."
