Thousands of people protest Canada's vaccine mandate policy in the streets of Ottawa. The Canadian trucker organized Freedom Convoy saw hundreds of trucks and thousands of people converge in downtown Ottawa. The truckers were originally protesting last week in opposition to the vaccine requirement for truckers carrying freight back and forth across the border with the USA. Yesterday the truckers were joined by thousands of demonstrators at Parliament Hill and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's offices in Ottawa calling for an end to the restrictions. Trudeau called the protesters a "small fringe minority" who don't represent the majority of Canadians.
