Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar says he's unable to meet county commissioners' ten-day deadline for releasing body-cam video. Last month the commissioners decided the sheriff's office must release body camera video within ten-days of a critical incident, such as a deputy-involved shooting. Salazar stated in a letter on Monday that 30-days would be more like it until the department is able to get the timing down. He blamed the imposition of the ten-day rule on the "malice [of one] commissioner who is no longer on the court."
