The Northside ISD School Board plans to put a bond proposal of nearly a billion-dollars before the voters. Board members gave their approval to the $992 million bond on Tuesday evening. Some non-school-related projects were trimmed from the final proposal, including one pertaining to Gus Stadium. If voters approve, the bond will be used to build new schools and improve existing ones, as well as to upgrade technology and transportation. The bond proposal will appear on the May 7th ballot.
