The Rockets earned a road victory over a Western Conference contender. Houston defeated the Jazz 116-111 in Salt Lake City. Garrison Mathews balled out for the Rockets with 23 points and Christian Wood finished with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Kevin Porter Jr. had 15 points and drained a big three-pointer with 22 seconds left that put Houston comfortably in control. The Rockets have won three of four and improve to 14-and-32.
