A 3-year-old child and a 22-year-old man are in critical condition after they were hit during a drive-by shooting on the city's west side. The shooting happened at about 9:30 p.m. at a home off Moraima Street near Castroville Road. When police arrived on the scene they found the child and the man with gunshot wounds. Both victims were rushed to a hospital in critical condition. Police say the two victims were inside a home when an unknown suspect opened fire on the building. The suspect drove off after the shooting and is still at large.
