Police are investigating a shooting that wounded four people at an MLK Day party on the East Side on Monday evening. Officers responded about 7 p.m. to the reported shooting on Spriggsdale Boulevard near I-10. Several dozen people were gathered in a parking lot to celebrate the holiday when a man walked up, fired into the crowd, and ran away. Two victims are in critical condition at Brooke Army Medical Center, and two others are hospitalized with non-life-threatening wounds. No word yet on a suspect or motive.
