Bond is set at $150,000 for a woman accused of leaving two toddlers alone and tied up or trapped in a Southeast Side home. Police arrested 37-year-old Priscilla Salais on Tuesday after firefighters discovered the toddlers over the weekend. The girl was hogtied, and the boy was trapped in a playpen with a loaded diaper. Salais faces two counts of child endangerment, and bond was set at $75,000 for each count. As of Wednesday afternoon, Salais had not posted bail.
