I-10 Near Boerne To Be Closed Later This Month For Roadwork

All lanes of I-10 near Boerne will be closed for a full weekend this month to make way for a bridge demolition. Boerne officials and the Texas Department of Transportation say the tear down of the old bridge at I-10 and Highway 46 will get underway at 9 p.m. on Friday, January 21st, and continue until 5 a.m. Monday, January 24th, weather permitting. During that time, I-10 will be totally closed both eastbound and westbound, along with the new Highway 46 bridge over the interstate. Detours will be posted.
