Governor Abbott is expected to make a major announcement this weekend in McAllen. The Texas Tribune reports that Abbott will make a speech tomorrow formally kicking off his campaign for a third term. Abbott plans to discuss his plans to win over Hispanic voters at an event billed as a leadership summit. The governor is expected to speak around three o'clock in the afternoon.
