A hearing concerning the validity of a judicial candidate's application for the 285th District Court continues this morning. Candidate Nadine Nieto sued last month, accusing her opponent in the March Democratic primary of having several discrepancies on her sworn application for the position. The suit seeks to have Lisa Uresti-Dasher tossed off the ballot, partly because she used two versions of her name, with and without the hyphen. The ballots for the March 1st primary need to be printed by January 13th, a week from tomorrow.
