VIA is offering football fans a low-cost park-and-ride service to get to and from the Valero Alamo Bowl. The service starts rolling at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29th, from the Crossroads Park & Ride on Crossroads Boulevard in Balcones Heights, and the Stone Oak Park & Ride on Stone Oak Parkway at 281 North. Return service continues for an hour after the end of the game. The fare is $2.50 each way. Discounts are available for kids, students, seniors, and active-duty military. VIAtrans customers and kids under five are free.
