Law enforcement agencies in Bexar County are under a new policy requiring the release of body cam video of "critical incidents" within ten-days. County commissioners unanimously passed the policy on Tuesday. The new rule applies to video of incidents in which officers or deputies kill or seriously injure people, including those in custody. There are exceptions to the policy, which applies to deputies, jailers, constables and fire marshals. Agencies that don't comply could lose county funding for their body cams.
