Texas regulators are working to make sure natural gas companies don't have their electricity cut off, as some of them did during February's freeze. The Texas Railroad Commission approved a new rule on Tuesday that will instruct natural gas companies to fill out the necessary paperwork to keep the lights on. Filling out the forms will designate the gas companies as critical, so their power likely won't be shut off in future energy emergencies such as another winter storm.
