President Biden says his administration will tap the Strategic Petroleum Reserve as Americans are paying more and more to gas up. Biden said today the move is part of a global effort by energy-consuming nations to slow the rapid rise in fuel prices. The coordinated release between the U.S., India, China, Japan, South Korea, and the U.K. is the first move of its kind. The U.S. will release 50-million barrels from the Reserve. Prices at the pump are the highest in seven years.
