A $2 billion lawsuit is being filed on behalf of over 200 victims of the Astroworld Festival crowd surge, which left ten concert-goers dead and hundreds injured. Attorney Thomas J. Henry is suing rappers Travis Scott and Drake, as well as Live Nation and NRG Stadium. In a statement, he says they chose to cut corners, cut costs and put attendees at risk.

Meanwhile, there may have been almost 12-thousand unticketed attendees at a deadly Southeast Texas music festival. NRG Park GM Mark Miller told Harris County Sports & Convention Corporation board members yesterday almost 38,000 tickets were scanned for Astroworld. Houston firefighters have estimated 50,000 people were at the Travis Scott-backed festival earlier this month.
