Police are investigating after a VIA bus was caught in the crossfire of a shooting on the East Side on Wednesday night. Officers say the shooting happened around 8 p.m. on MLK Drive near Stolnet Street. People in two cars were firing shots at each other in traffic, and at least two bullets hit the bus. Police say shrapnel injured a man on board the bus. There were only two other people on the bus, including the driver, and police say they both escaped injury.
