A suspected serial burglar is in San Antonio police custody. Officers arrested 29-year-old Jullian Vara on Wednesday on three counts of burglary of a habitation and one count of burglary of a building. The break-ins took place between September and November at homes on South Trinity Street, Pendleton Avenue, and Southolme, in neighborhoods near downtown. Police say Vara stole money, jewelry, electronics, and lawn equipment. Investigators are trying to recover the stolen items and return them to their owners.
