A steel container wall is now in place along a stretch of the Rio Grande in Eagle Pass. The Department of Public Safety and the Texas National Guard put the new barrier in place. Gov. Greg Abbott says the shipping containers are among the resources being used to secure the state's border with Mexico. Abbott tweeted a video on Wednesday that showed the containers being placed along the river banks. The governor says he's doing the job of border security that the Biden administration is refusing to do.
