The latest College Football Playoff rankings are out. The top four remains unchanged this week. Georgia is atop the rankings at number one while Alabama is second. Oregon is third and Ohio State is fourth. On the outside looking in is Cincinnati at fifth, Michigan is sixth, and Michigan State at seventh. Baylor is up two spots to 11th after upsetting Oklahoma, while Texas A&M falls five spots to 16th following the loss at Ole Miss. Undefeated UTSA checks in at number 22, while nine-and-one Houston joins the rankings at number 24.
Off to the best overall (10-0) and conference (6-0) starts in program history and riding a school-record 10-game winning streak, the Roadrunners are the third highest-ranked team from a Group of Five conference behind No. 5 Cincinnati and No. 19 San Diego State.
UTSA stayed at No. 15 — their highest ranking ever — in the AP Top 25 and is 18th in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll this week. The Roadrunners also appear at No. 15 in this week’s Football Writers Association of America/National Football Foundation Super 16 Poll.
The Roadrunners — one of three undefeated FBS teams — will host UAB (7-3, 5-1) this Saturday, Nov. 20, in a Conference USA West Division showdown. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. at the Alamodome.
