Millions Of Opioid Relief Dollars Are On Their Way To Bexar County

Millions of dollars from a lawsuit settlement are on the way to Bexar County to help residents dealing with opioid addictions. The State of Texas and Johnson & Johnson agreed to a settlement of more than $290 million in one of the many lawsuits against the manufacturers of opioids. About $12 million of that settlement is coming to Bexar County. So far no details of how the county will distribute the money have been released, but non-profits that work with opioid addicts are expressing interest.
