Two people are detained after a man was stabbed to death on the South Side. Police say the attack happened about 1 a.m. Sunday on West Mitchell and King Roger Streets. Officers found a man in his 30s with fatal stab wounds in a yard near the intersection. A blood trail led to the driveway of a nearby house, and officers eventually detained two people for questioning. Charges are pending.
