Three San Antonio school districts are figuring out what to do next after voters rejected bond initiatives in Tuesday's election. East Central ISD asked voters to approve a $17 million bond to build three new schools and upgrade several existing ones. Judson ISD's $302 million bond also failed. It would have paid for two new schools, plus computers for all students. Southside ISD wanted $52 million to replace school roofs and renovate classrooms, but voters resoundingly rejected the measure.
