Austin FC is on top after defeating Sporting KC last night 3-1. Sebastian Driussi and Julio Cascante scored a goal each for Austin in the first half of the match. Jared Stroud added a goal in the second half to give the team the win. Austin FC will close out the season on Sunday against Portland.
“Our fans and our support, our community has been behind us from the outset. It’s been incredible to see that, to feel that and be part of this organization," said head coach Josh Wolff. "Hopefully, tonight is an indication of what we can be and what we want to be going into next year. Again, nothing but love for all of our fans but certainly our supporters’ section.
