Texans Approve Eight Constitutional Amendments

There will be eight new amendments to the Texas Constitution. Voters across the Lone Star State approved all of the proposed amendments that were passed by the Texas Legislature earlier this year. Among them are a ban on restrictions for religious services in Texas, and changes to eligibility requirements to run for judge in certain state and district courts. Texans also said yes to allowing nursing homes and assisted living residents to designate one essential caregiver who cannot be denied in-person visitation.
