A new catwalk for jaguars at the San Antonio Zoo will be available for public viewing on Friday. Zoo officials say the Pantera Walk will allow the zoo's jaguars to stroll above the exhibit and its visitors below. The skywalk is part of the zoo's new Neotropica area, which covers South and Central America, the Caribbean, and other parts of the tropics. The zoo broke ground on the skywalk in April. Zoo officials say it's the first of its kind in the nation.
