About one out of every ten new Texans is coming from California. That's according to a new study done by the Real Estate Research Center at Texas A&M University. However, this is not a new trend. The report shows that in 19 of the last 20 years, California ranked as the top move-to-Texas state. The one exception was 2005. That's when Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana and residents relocated to the Lone Star State.
