The Braves took Game One of the 2021 World Series. Atlanta defeated the Astros 6-2 in Houston. Jorge Soler and Adam Duvall each homered for the Braves. Atlanta starter Charlie Morton exited the game after suffering a fractured bone in his leg. A.J. Minter earned the win for Atlanta. Carlos Correa and Chas McCormick drove in runs for the Astros. Framber Valdez was assessed the loss. Game Two is Wednesday in Houston.
