Local school districts are planning to vaccinate their students once coronavirus vaccines are approved for kids between five and 11 years old. San Antonio ISD officials say they aim to vaccinate as many younger kids as they can before the end of this year. The district plans to work with STAAMP Allergy, a clinic that's teamed up with SAISD to offer vaccines in the past. Once the FDA gives its expected emergency approval for younger kids to get the shot, SAISD will offer the vaccine at the Alamo Convocation Center starting in early November.
