Timberwolves Blow Out Rockets In Opener

The Rockets came up short in their season opener, falling 124-106 to the Timberwolves in Minnesota. Christian Wood led Houston with 16 points and nine rebounds. Eric Gordon scored another 15 points. The Rockets' 24 turnovers is the most they've had in a game since 2016. The Wolves jumped out to a 27-point lead at halftime, and they were able to coast to the finish line. Karl-Anthony Towns led the Wolves with 30 points.
