Long-term expansion plans are in place for the San Antonio International Airport. The airport will add gates to Terminals A and B before construction begins on a brand-new Terminal C. Officials say expanding the airport will ensure enough capacity for the airfields and terminals, and should increase the number of travelers to San Antonio by the millions. Construction is expected to be completed by 2040.
