One injury and no deaths are being reported following a Southeast Texas plane crash. State troopers say the jet went down late this morning in a field around 30 minutes west of Houston right next to Houston Executive Airport. It then caught fire. It's believed over 20 people were aboard the plane, but officials say luckily no one was seriously injured. The entire fuselage appeared to have been destroyed by flames with only the tail remaining.
The Waller County Office of Emergency Management said the MD-80 had crashed shortly while taking off from Houston Executive Airport.
