Congressman Lloyd Doggett will no longer represent San Antonio after next year. The longtime Democratic Representative announced that he will run in Texas' 37th Congressional District, which is being formed by the state's proposed redistricting map that is expected to be approved by Governor Abbott. The new district will be concentrated almost entirely in Travis County, which Doggett calls home. He currently represents the 35th District, which stretches along I-35 from Austin to San Antonio.
