A Texas election on November 2nd will lack any candidates for statewide office. The election will instead focus on eight amendments to the state Constitution, dealing with issues ranging from taxes to judicial eligibility to religious freedom. The last day to register to vote is October 4th. The last day to apply for a mail-in ballot is October 22nd. Early voting in the state starts on October 18th and ends on the 29th.
