A salmonella outbreak has sickened 279 people in 29 states, including Texas. It has also put 26 people in the hospital. The CDC says that's double the cases it reported just last Thursday and it still hasn't determined the source of the outbreak. Texas leads the way with 81 confirmed salmonella cases followed by Oklahoma with 40. Illinois has 23 cases, Virginia has 22 and Minnesota has 19. Those who've gotten sick range in age from younger than one-year-old to 89 with nearly six out of ten cases among females.
