The NBA is losing of one its top sharpshooters in recent league history. Guard JJ Redick announced on Tuesday his retirement from the NBA, after playing 15 seasons at the pro level. The 37-year-old Redick averaged 12.8 points per game and shot an impressive 44.7 percent from deep. He ranks 15th in league history with 1,950 career made three-pointers. Redick finished out his career with the Mavericks, playing 13 games last season and averaging 4.4 points per contest. That all came after his storied college career at Duke, where he is still the program's all-time leading scorer and set multiple ACC records.
