The Astros could be getting one of their sluggers back soon. Houston manager Dusty Baker told reporters Tuesday that Michael Brantley is close to returning but won't be activated when he's first eligible on Wednesday. Brantley was placed on the injured list on September 12th after dealing with some right knee discomfort. He has taken part of pregame work this week, but still needs to run bases and take batting practice, according to Baker.
