A new report says former U.S. Congressman Beto O'Rourke plans to announce a run for Governor of Texas. The Axios report yesterday cites Democrat sources in Texas who claim O'Rourke intends to announce soon he is going to run. The report says O'Rourke would be a high profile Texas Democratic challenger to Governor Greg Abbott's reelection bid, which comes up in November of 2022.
