A man is locked up after reportedly stabbing two employees at a North Side motel over the weekend. Officers responded shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday at a Motel 6 Extended Stay on Highway 281 North. They say the suspect, in his mid-30s, was staying at the motel with his girlfriend and had been making trouble for the employees all day. After other guests complained about the man's behavior, two employees confronted him, and police say he stabbed them. One is in the hospital in serious condition with a severe cut to his arm. The other was treated at the scene. The suspect faces two counts of aggravated assault.
