The Astros scored seven-runs in the fourth inning to set the tone in a 12-1 blowout victory over the Rangers at Globe Life Field. Astros hitter combined for fifteen hits as every hitter reached base in the game. Alex Bregman went two-for-five with four RBI, while Carlos Correa and Chas McCormick each hit home runs. Luis Garcia earned his 11th win after allowing only one run in five-and-a-third innings. Houston leads the AL West by seven games over Oakland and their magic number is down to ten. Glenn Otto gave up seven runs in three-and-a-third innings to fall to oh-and-two. Texas has lost three of its last four games.
