A federal judge in Austin is siding with Gov. Greg Abbott's executive order banning mask mandates in schools. The judge on Wednesday ruled against Disability Rights Texas, an advocacy group, who filed a lawsuit last month, claiming Abbott's order "puts students with disabilities at risk." After hearing from both sides of the issue, the judge denied the advocacy group's request for a temporary restraining order. An attorney for Disability Rights Texas says the group will keep fighting the order in court.
