Pandemic numbers in Texas are showing some improvement. Health data released on Tuesday showed that the number of patients hospitalized for coronavirus in the state is down by about a thousand since late last month. The number has dropped below 13,000 for first time since August 21st. In addition, vaccination rates in Texas are still improving. As of Tuesday, just over 59-percent of Texans 12 and older are fully vaccinated, and 70% have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
