North East ISD officials say a student at Tex Hill Middle School faces criminal charges after threatening the school in an Instagram post. The school's principal sent a letter to parents telling them the student has been arrested and charged with making terrorist threats. The student's threat against the school followed a similar one also posted on Instagram. The principal said the person who posted the earlier threat is identified as a former NEISD student who now lives in another state. That person may also face charges.
