Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is suing San Antonio ISD over its coronavirus vaccine mandate again. The second suit was filed Monday, claiming the mandate violates an executive order from Gov. Greg Abbott. Last month, SAISD became the first district in Texas to require its employees to be vaccinated. Paxton sued, because Abbott's order banned government entities from requiring vaccinations that don't have full FDA approval. After the Pfizer vaccine received full approval, Abbott issued another order banning vaccine mandates regardless, providing Paxton the basis for the second suit.
